Product Properties

Product properties define attributes that can be assigned to products and used as filters in the WebShop. These properties help categorize products based on key characteristics such as brand, model, or technical specifications, making it easier for customers to find relevant products.

Managing Properties​

Properties can be created and managed through the Properties section under Products in the menu. Here, you can define property names and add values corresponding to different attributes.

Steps to Add a New Property​

  1. Click on + Add Property.
  2. Enter the name of the property (e.g., "Model" or "Vendor").
  3. Click the checkmark to save the new property.

Once added, properties will be available for assignment to products.

Adding Values to a Property​

Each property can contain multiple values. For example, a Model property might include "4K Series" or "UltraWide Series."

  1. Click on the property you want to add values to.
  2. Click + Add value.
  3. Enter the name of the value and click save.

These values will appear as filter options in the WebShop.

Reordering Properties​

You can reorder properties to control how they appear in filters.

  1. Click the Reorder button.
  2. Drag and drop properties into the preferred order.
  3. Click Save to apply the changes.

Assigning Properties to Products​

When editing a product, you can assign properties to define its attributes.

  1. Navigate to Products.
  2. Select a product and open the Properties tab.
  3. Choose an existing property from the dropdown or create a new one.
  4. Assign relevant values from the list or add a new value.

Once assigned, properties will be displayed in the product details and used as filters in the WebShop.

WebShop Filters​

Properties automatically function as filters in the WebShop. Customers can refine searches based on attributes such as Vendor, Model, or other technical details.
