Shopping Cart

The ZaveIT WebShop includes a Shopping Cart feature that allows customers to add products, review their selections, and proceed to checkout. The cart streamlines the purchasing process by providing an easy way to manage selected products before finalizing an order.

Logged-In View

Adding Products to the Cart​

When a logged-in customer browses the Product Shop, they can:

  1. View product prices (only visible when logged in).
  2. Adjust quantity before adding items to the cart.
  3. Click the "Add to cart" button to include the product in their shopping cart.

Once a product is added, the cart icon in the top menu will update, displaying the total number of items in the cart.

Accessing the Cart​

Customers can access their cart at any time by clicking the Cart button in the top navigation.

Upon opening the cart, they can:

  • Review selected products, including name, quantity, and price.
  • Adjust product quantities using the increment (+) or decrement (-) buttons.
  • Remove items by clicking the delete icon.
  • View order details, including the subtotal and total amount due.

Completing the Checkout Process​

Once the cart is finalized, customers can proceed to checkout:

  1. Review the order summary to ensure all items are correct.
  2. Click the "Checkout" button.
  3. Follow the guided steps to complete the purchase.

Example Use Cases​

🛒 Adding a Monitor to the Cart​

  1. Locate a 4K monitor in the Product Shop.
  2. Adjust the quantity (if needed).
  3. Click "Add to cart".
  4. The cart icon updates, showing the added item.

🛒 Reviewing and Adjusting the Cart​

  1. Open the Cart from the navigation menu.
  2. Check the items in the cart.
  3. Increase or decrease the quantity as needed.
  4. Remove any unwanted items.

🛒 Proceeding to Checkout​

  1. Open the Cart.
  2. Review the total amount due.
  3. Click "Checkout" to proceed with the purchase.
