Ingram Micro Reseller
ZaveIT offers two Ingram Micro integrations. Reseller is for accessing the distribution catalog with hardware, software, and real-time pricing. If you need cloud subscription and services management, see Ingram Micro Cloud Marketplace instead.
About
Ingram Micro Reseller is Ingram Micro's API for accessing their full distribution catalog - covering hardware, software, and subscription products. The ZaveIT integration connects to your Ingram Micro reseller account, letting you import products with real-time pricing and availability directly into the platform.
Capabilities
The Reseller integration provides the following capabilities:
- Import Customers - Pull your Ingram Micro reseller customer accounts into ZaveIT to centralize customer management.
- Import Products - Pull Ingram Micro's product catalog into ZaveIT, including hardware and subscription products with real-time pricing and availability for your region.
- Credential Validation - Test your API credentials during setup to verify the connection before saving.
Getting Started
Step 1: Gather Your API Credentials
You need the following from your Ingram Micro developer portal and reseller account:
- Your Client ID and Client Secret from the Ingram Micro developer portal.
- Your Secret Key used for API request correlation.
- Your Customer Number (format:
XX-XXXXXX) from your Ingram Micro reseller account. - Your two-character ISO Country Code (for example,
US,NO,GB).
Contact your Ingram Micro account representative if you don't have API access set up.
Step 2: Configure in ZaveIT
- In the ZaveIT Platform, navigate to Settings → Integrations.
- Find Ingram Micro Reseller and click Configure.
- Enter your Client ID, Client Secret, Secret Key, Customer Number, and Country Code.
- Pick the target Currency for imported product prices. Leave it on Norwegian Krone (NOK) unless you invoice this distributor's customers in another currency - EUR, GBP, SEK, USD, and DKK are available.
- Click Save.
The integration validates your credentials on save. If the connection is successful, the integration status changes to active.

| Field | Description | Where to find it |
|---|---|---|
| Client ID | Your Ingram Micro API client identifier | Ingram Micro developer portal |
| Client Secret | Your Ingram Micro API client secret | Ingram Micro developer portal |
| Secret Key | Key used for correlation ID header in API requests | Ingram Micro developer portal |
| Customer Number | Your Ingram Micro customer number (format: XX-XXXXXX) | Your Ingram Micro reseller account |
| Country Code | Two-character ISO country code (e.g. US, NO, GB) | Determined by your Ingram Micro account region |
| Currency | Target currency for imported product prices (default NOK) | Picked from the dropdown during integration setup |
Considerations
- Country-specific catalog - The Country Code determines which regional product catalog the integration accesses. Products, pricing, and availability vary by region.
- API rate limits - Ingram Micro's API has rate limits that may affect large catalog imports. The integration handles pagination and throttling automatically.
- Credential scope - Your Client ID and Client Secret must have the correct API permissions enabled in the Ingram Micro developer portal. Verify that reseller API access is included in your API subscription.
- Norway (NO) country handling - Ingram does not support Norway directly. Setting the country code to
NOroutes API requests through the Swedish (SE) marketplace, which returns prices in SEK; those prices are then converted to your selected Currency using rates from Norges Bank. With the default Currency (NOK), your products land with countryNOand prices in NOK out of the box - no manual conversion needed.
