Image guidelines
This page covers the images used in Custom Pages — the banner shown at the top of the home page, and the product/service images that appear in featured sections.

General rules
- Allowed formats: PNG and JPG/JPEG.
- Maximum file size: 5 MB per image.
- Use JPG for photographic content such as banner backgrounds.
- Use PNG with a transparent background for images that need to sit on top of a colored card.
- Recommended sizes are 2× the rendered size so images stay sharp on high-resolution (Retina / HiDPI) displays.
- Use the sRGB color profile so colors look the same in every browser.
Crop and resize images before uploading. The image is stored as-is, so an oversized image only wastes bandwidth, and an undersized image looks blurry.
Banner
The banner is configured only in the Page Builder (see Banners). Each slide can have its own background image.

The image fills the banner area and is cropped to fit, so keep logos, text and key subjects within the middle 70% of the image. A subtle dark overlay is applied on top to keep the headline readable, so very dark or busy images may look flat.
Featured product images
Featured product sections reuse the image set on the product itself — there is no separate "featured" image to upload.

The featured product card shows the image without cropping (letterboxed), so a 4 : 3 image will sit inside the card with a little empty space on the top and bottom. The same image is used in the webshop, in the cart and at checkout, so uploading it once at this size keeps the product looking right everywhere it appears.
If you want the empty space around the image to blend into the card, save the product image as a PNG with a transparent background. The card color will show through the letterbox bars.

Featured service images
Featured service sections reuse the image set on the service itself — there is no separate "featured" image to upload.

Both the column layout and the wide / row layout render the image as a square, so a 1 : 1 image works in either case. Keep the subject centered so the card looks balanced.
