Limitations and notes

Before rolling out complex pricing, review current constraints and plan around them. The list below captures today’s limitations and recommended practices.

Known limitations

  • Pricing rules are not implemented for Marketplace products (planned).
  • Pricing rules do not apply for Editions (planned).
  • A single pricing rule can include at most 10 individual customers and 10 individual products. For broader targeting, use Product Groups and Customer Groups.

Best practices

  • Prefer groups over long lists of individual items for maintainability.
  • Use stacking deliberately; ensure combined effects are intended and tested.
  • Keep rule names descriptive (include strategy, scope, and timeframe) for easier audits.
  • Validate results with a staging customer and representative products before enabling in production.
